Strongbar was established in 1983 to meet the increasing need in the marketplace to manufacture induction hardened and ground round steel for linear ball applications and the special purpose machine build sector.  Since then, the company has worked extremely hard to build a solid reputation in the industry and it continues to supply product to some of the most prestigious and quality demanding customers in the world.

Strongbar is especially known for manufacturing products requiring close tolerances, high surface finishes, centreless grinding, and shaft straightness that meets and exceeds industry quality standards.

In 1997, the organization took a major step forward in establishing a more secure foothold within the increasing global marketplace. Though acquisition by the Canadian-based company RotoPrecision Inc., Strongbar has created a successful international partnership and has gained an increased reach to new products and new markets.
